Renee J Button grew up in rural North Dakota, where her childhood was immersed in the beauty of nature, thanks to her mother, a schoolteacher who nurtured in Renee a deep appreciation for the world around them. As the youngest of three daughters, Renee spent countless hours alone, painting and writing, allowing her creativity to blossom. These early experiences laid the foundation for her love of storytelling. Today, she continues to draw on her love for nature and her sense of humor to craft engaging children’s books that both entertain and teach important life lessons.
